The Search Committee is very pleased to have Rev. Jennifer as our candidate because of her extensive experience and outstanding skills. Under normal circumstances, a candidate would be in Peoria for just over a week so that the congregation could meet with them in person.
Our candidating process will be done virtually, with opportunities to see and speak with the candidate over the internet. In order to provide enough time for us to get to know each other, the candidating process is being extended to two weeks. It will start on the afternoon of Sunday, April 19th , and continue through Sunday, May 3rd.
The UUA has recommended that the best option is to proceed with a virtual candidating process, and the Search Committee and Board of Trustees are following that recommendation. There are several reasons:. There will be many virtual opportunities to interact with Rev.

There are those of us living with HIV, who carry deep emotional scars of rejection in disclosing our status to potential partners. It was two years later that the concept gained traction in Australia. These anxieties include rejection, physical and emotional attack and our personal health information shared with others without our permission. Has it helped people living with HIV to find love, or an interlude of sexual pleasure?
Timothy chose not to disclose to his family or friends and only his HIV doctor and nurses knew of his status.
You can graduate at the end of every month. To do so, your study progress review in OSIRIS should be complete and correct on the monthly final ‘hand-in date’.
Every programme has its own application deadline, which you can find on the Application Procedure page of your programme. Always make sure to check which deadline applies to you. All deadlines expire at midnight Central European Time on the date stated. You have to complete the whole application process including submitting your application documents in OSIRIS Online Application and paying the application fee by this date.
We advise you to apply as early as possible. The earlier you apply, the more time there is for us to help you in case your application file is not yet complete, and the earlier you receive an admissions decision. Keep in mind that you may need to apply even earlier than the regular application deadline, if you also want to be considered for a UU scholarship or need an early admissions decision for a scholarship application in your home country.
But in this day and age, and considering where I live, online dating met like my only option and still is. I waited to disclose until we met face to face. I told him that if we were to proceed, he would need to get tested for everything that could be sexually transmitted before I would consider letting him come near me.
We met out to see if there was any attraction and decided we would give it a go.

Communicating about dating and relationships with your youth really comes down to values. As Unitarian Universalists, we believe that sex is not sinful but can be a healthy expression of affection between consenting persons. Beyond that, we as parents need to communicate our personal values, such as keeping sexual activity within the confines of a committed relationship.
Stressing that individuals may decide to engage in sexual intimacy if they are mature enough, ready for the responsibility, and committed to one another is a powerful yet positive way of communicating that casual sexual activity can be harmful. Youth who are in the fog of love and raging hormones may need such guidelines to help them make the right choices at the right time.

Unitarian Universalism UU is a liberal religion characterized by a “free and responsible search for truth and meaning “. Currently, these traditions are summarized by the Six Sources and Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism, documents recognized by all congregations who choose to be a part of the Unitarian Universalist Association. These documents are ‘living’, meaning always open for revisiting and reworking.
Unitarian Universalist U. The roots of Unitarian Universalism lie in liberal Christianity , specifically Unitarianism and universalism. Unitarian Universalists state that from these traditions comes a deep regard for intellectual freedom and inclusive love. Congregations and members seek inspiration and derive insight from all major world religions. A group of thirty Philippine congregations is represented as a sole member within the UUA. Unitarian Universalism was formed from the consolidation in of two historically separate Christian denominations, the Universalist Church of America and the American Unitarian Association, both based in the United States; the new organization formed in this merger was the Unitarian Universalist Association.
Today they draw from a variety of religious traditions. Individuals may or may not self-identify as Christians or subscribe to Christian beliefs. The extent to which the elements of any particular faith tradition are incorporated into personal spiritual practice is a matter of individual choice for congregants, in keeping with a creedless, non-dogmatic approach to spirituality and faith development. New England Unitarians evolved from the Pilgrim Fathers ‘ Congregational Christianity , which was originally based on a literal reading of the Holy Bible.
Instead, they asserted a unitary notion of God.
